We conduct research according to the principles of open science. We share acquired data and protocols for methods developed. We cooperate with foreign research centres, increasing each other's potential and setting new research directions.

Neurobiology of vision & consciousness

Led by Michał Bola, our research group investigates the neurobiological foundations of visual perception. We seek to unravel the intricate mechanisms of consciousness, attention, and high-level vision, as well as how these processes are modulated by psychedelics. To address these questions, we employ a multidisciplinary approach combining psychophysics with advanced neuroimaging (EEG & fMRI).

We investigates the neural mechanisms underlying sleep regulation and circadian rhythms, and their impact on cognitive function and human health. Our work integrates cognitive neuroscience, physiology, and behavioral tracking.
